Refreshing myself Clarisse after two years. In this example Geae was used to generate the separate islands as well as islands clusters. Those models were brought to Clarisse for texturing , look dev and lighting. All passes were comped in Nuke. Finally some small improvements were added in Photoshop but I tried to keep it to minimum. Some bits of the creation process are shown on the video attached.
If one day I'm lucky to have a full Clarisse licence I might render this out as a full sequence, some improvements would need to be done especially to the vegetation.
Originally a futuristic city was supposed to be placed in this setting however 5 days proved to be not enough to pull this off. Maybe in the later stage I'll incorporate it.
